What is Emverm?
Emverm is an anti-worm medication prescribed, along with changes to hygiene habits, to treat a variety of worm infections including pinworm, hookworm, roundworm, whipworm, and others in either single or mixed infections in both children and adults. It is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic that works by preventing the formation of the worms’ microtubules and causes their glucose to deplete.
How do I take Emverm?
Emverm is administered as a chewable tablet; it may also be crushed and mixed with food. Dosing frequency is either twice a day for three consecutive days or it is a single, one-time dose, depending on the infection; treatment may need to be repeated in two to three weeks. Follow the dosing instruction exactly and do not stop taking the medication even if you feel well.
Before taking Emverm, tell your doctor if:
