What is Advicor?

Advicor is a cholesterol-lowering medicine that contains a combination of two medications: extended-release niacin and lovastatin. What if I forget to take a dose of Advicor?

If you forget to take a dose of Advicor, skip the missed dose and continue on your regular regiment. Never take a double dose to try to compensate for a missed one.

Store Advicor pills at a temperature between 68 and 77 degrees Fahrenheit. Keep the medication in a tightly closed container and out of reach of children and pets.

What happens if I overdose on Advicor?
