Betadine Information:
This product is an antiseptic used to prevent or treat infections of minor skin wounds. It may also be used for other reasons as determined by your doctor.
Use this medicine exactly as directed on the package, unless instructed differently by your doctor. This product should only be used externally. Avoid getting the spray in your eyes, ears, or mouth. STORE THIS MEDICINE at room temperature in a tightly-closed container, away from heat and light.
INFORM YOUR DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST of all prescription and over-the-counter medicine that you are taking. Inform your doctor of any other medical conditions, allergies, pregnancy, or breast-feeding.
A SIDE EFFECT, that may go away during treatment, is skin irritation. If it continues or is bothersome, check with your doctor. AN ALLERGIC REACTION to this medicine is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, or trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
