CitraNatal DHA is a prenatal tablet containing vitamins and minerals, such as calcium, vitamin C, and iron, that improve the nutritional status of a woman before conception, during pregnancy, and after giving birth. Each CitraNatal DHA dose also comes with a soft gel capsule containing docosahexaenoic acid, an essential fatty acid.

• How

Take one CitraNatal DHA tablet and one soft gel capsule by mouth per day, unless your doctor gives you different instructions.

• Precautions

Before taking CitraNatal DHA, tell your doctor if:

·       You are allergic to any of the ingredients in this multivitamin

·       You are taking any other prescription or non-prescription supplements, vitamins, or drugs

• Side Effects

Serious side effects of CitraNatal DHA are rare. However, you should get emergency medical help right away if you experience any signs of a severe allergic reaction. Signs may include rash, itching, difficulty breathing, or swelling of the tongue, lips, and face.

• Missed Dosage

Take the missed dose once you remember, unless it’s almost time for your next dose. Do not take two doses on the same day.

• Storage

Store CitraNatal DHA at room temperature (between 68 and 77 degrees Fahrenheit). Brief storage between 59 and 86 degrees Fahrenheit is acceptable. However, you should minimize exposure to temperature extremes and keep the tablets from getting moist. Store your CitraNatal DHA kit out of reach of any children or pets in your home.

Warnings

Don’t take more than 3 grams of omega-3 fatty acids per day. If you believe you have anemia, talk to your doctor before you start taking CitraNatal DHA. The folic acid in this multivitamin may obscure anemia in blood tests.
