What is Klor-Con M20?

Klor Con M20 is a prescription drug form of potassium chloride, a naturally-occurring mineral compound of potassium and chlorine. Do not crush or chew Klor-Con 20 tablets as you will destroy the extended release mechanism. Swallow tablets whole with a glass of water, and take this medication with a meal. Klor-Con 20 is usually taken just once a day. Dissolve effervescent tablets in a glass of approximately 4-5 ounces of water. Allow the tablet to dissolve completely which takes about two minutes. Stir the contents and drink quickly. Put some more water in the bottom of the glass, swirl it around, and consume the remaining contents of the medication.
