Ob Complete One Information:

What is OB Complete One?

OB Complete One is one of many available prenatal vitamin supplements. It contains folic acid, calcium and iron in supplementary dosages to encourage healthy fetal growth and energy conservation of pregnant mothers. It also includes Docosahexaenoic Acid, or DHA, an omega-3 fatty acid that is one of the primary building blocks of the human brain, cerebral cortex, skin, sperm, testicles, and retina. The presence of DHA in OB Complete One encourages both full body health in the mother and robust bodily growth of the fetus. Often, vitamin A is included in prenatal vitamins such as OB Complete One, but only in small doses, as overexposure to vitamin A can lead to serious negative side effects for both the mother and the unborn baby.

How do I take OB Complete One?

Take OB Complete One as instructed on the label or as directed by your doctor. Do not take extra multivitamins if you believe that you are low on certain nutrients. Take each capsule with a full glass of water.

Before taking OB Complete One, tell your doctor if:
You have known allergies to food or medication
You have any preexisting medical conditions
You plan to breastfeed
You have a history of serious medical conditions

What are the possible side effects of taking OB Complete One?

Most side effects are mild and may include: stomach pain, headache, or an unpleasant lingering taste. Talk to your doctor if you have these signs of an allergic reaction: hives, difficulty breathing, or swelling of the face. If you experience any unusual side effects, talk to a medical health professional immediately.

What if I forget to take a dose of OB Complete One?

Take your missed dose once you remember that you did not take it. Skip it if it is nearly time for your next dose. Never take extra medicine to make up for a missed dose.

How do I store OB Complete One?

Store at room temperature and keep it away from heat and moisture. Always store prenatal multivitamins in their original container. Glass container storage can ruin the medication.

What happens if I overdose on OB Complete One?

If you believe you have taken too much OB Complete One, get emergency medical attention or call the Poison Help line at 1-800-222-1222. An overdose on vitamins A, D, E, or K can lead to severe, life-threatening side effects that may also harm your unborn baby. Certain minerals in prenatal multivitamins may also cause overdose symptoms or harm your baby if taken too much.

Warnings

To get the full benefit of OB Complete One, take vitamins regularly without missing any doses. Do not break, crush, or open capsules. Do not take other multivitamins within 2 hours of taking OB Complete One. Avoid taking this medication with milk, calcium supplements, antacids that contain calcium, or other calcium-rich dairy products. The presence of too much calcium may make it more difficult for the body to absorb certain ingredients in the vitamin supplement.
