Striverdi Respimat Information:

What is Striverdi Respimat?

Striverdi Respimat is a gentle inhaled spray used for the treatment of COPD symptoms. The active ingredient, olodaterol, is a long-acting beta2-agonist (LABA) which assists the muscles around the airways in the lungs in remaining relaxed when irritated. The mist is gentle and slow so it does not cause further irritation or inflammation of the airways.

How do I take Striverdi Respimat?

The medicine in Striverdi Respimat is administered by inhaler. The mist from the inhaler is taken directly into the lungs. Use a single dose of Striverdi Respimat once a day at the same time each day. Be sure to follow all instructions provided by your doctor and those written on the medicine or inhaler. Most inhalers come with a step-by-step instruction guide for use.

Before taking Striverdi Respimat, tell your doctor if:

  • You have heart problems
  • You have thyroid problems
  • You have high blood pressure
  • You have diabetes
  • You have seizures
  • You are pregnant or planning to become pregnant
  • You are breastfeeding
  • You are allergic to olodaterol, any other medicines, or food products

What are the possible side effects of taking Striverdi Respimat?

The use of Striverdi Respimat may cause some of the following common side effects: diarrhea, runny nose, upper respiratory tract infection, urinary tract infection, bronchitis, cough, dizziness, rash, back pain, or joint pain. Get medical help if you begin to experience severe side effects such as sudden shortness of breath, fast or irregular heartbeat, palpitations, chest pain, increased blood pressure, low blood potassium, high blood sugar, or a serious allergic reaction.

What if I forget to take a dose of Striverdi Respimat?

Take your missed dose as soon as you remember. Do not take more than a single dose within the same 24 hours. Serious or life-threatening symptoms may develop if you take more than the recommended dosage.

How do I store Striverdi Respimat?

Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees Fahrenheit (15 to 30 degrees Celsius). Do not freeze the cartridge or the inhaler. Keep all medicines away from children and pets.

What happens if I overdose on Striverdi Respimat?

Overdose may cause many of the side effects listed as severe in the Side Effects section. If you suspect an overdose, call Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222 or get to an emergency room as quickly as possible.
