What is Theo-24?

How do I take Theo-24?

Theo-24 is administered as a capsule that is taken orally, usually in 4-hour intervals. Take the capsules with water on an empty stomach, at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after eating. Follow the dosing instructions exactly. Before taking Theo-24, tell your doctor if:

What if I forget to take a dose of Theo-24?

If you forget your scheduled dose of Theo-24, take it as soon as you remember and are able, unless it is almost time for the next dose. In this instance, do not take the missed dose, but take the next dose at the scheduled time. Do not increase the number of capsules taken or change the regimen to make up for a dose that was missed.

How do I store Theo-24?

Keep Theo-24 tightly sealed in its container, out of the reach of children and away from excessive heat and humidity; bathroom storage is not recommended. Dispose of any unused or expired capsules according to the recommendations of your pharmacist.

What happens if I overdose on Theo-24?

In the event of an overdose of the Theo-24 drug, contact the Poison Control Center at 1-800-222-1222. If the individual has stopped breathing or lost consciousness, call Emergency Services at 911.

Contact your doctor if you become extremely short of breath while taking Theo-24. Drinking alcohol while taking this medication can exacerbate its side effects. Contact your doctor if you become pregnant while taking this medication. Do not switch theophylline brands without medical permission.
