Urogesic-Blue combines hyoscyamine (an anti-spasmodic), methenamine and methylene blue (anti-bacterial drugs), and sodium phosphate (a form of phosphorus) into a single tablet that is prescribed to treat bladder discomfort, burning, or pain caused by urinary tract infections or to prevent bladder discomfort during certain medical procedures. • You are on a low-sodium diet
• You have, or have had, a mental or mood disorder, arrhythmia, hypertension, heart problems, or heart, liver, or kidney disease.

What are the possible side effects of taking Urogesic-Blue?

Some people have reported side effects after taking Urogesic-Blue. Less severe symptoms include flushing, dry mouth, nausea, or vomiting. If these conditions persist or worsen, contact your healthcare provider.

Severe side effects requiring immediate medical attention include signs of an allergic reaction (rash, hives, itching, peeling or blistered skin; swelling of the face, mouth, lips, throat, or tongue; difficulty breathing or swallowing), tachycardia, arrhythmia, shortness of breath, dizziness, blurred vision, or problems urinating.

What if I forget to take a dose of Urogesic-Blue?

If you forget to take your scheduled dose of Urogesic-Blue, do so as soon as your remember and are able. Warnings

Tell your doctor if you become pregnant while taking Urogesic-Blue. Take loperamide-based antidiarrheal or antacid medications at least an hour before or an hour after taking Urogesic-Blue. Take ketoconazole at least two hours before taking this medication. Urogesic-Blue may cause dizziness; do not drive, operate heavy machinery or equipment, use power tools, or handle firearms until its effects are known. Contact your doctor if your condition does not improve or if it worsens.
