Qudexy XR Information:
What is Qudexy XR?
Qudexy XR is the drug topiramate in an extended release capsule. It is a sulfamate-substitute monosaccharide anticonvulsant medication prescribed for the treatment of partial onset, tonic-clonic, whole body, or other types of seizures experienced by those who have been diagnosed with either epilepsy or Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome. Qudexy XR works by decreasing abnormal excitement in the brain.
How do I take Qudexy XR?
Qudexy XR is an extended-release capsule administered orally, once or twice daily with water and without regard for food. Take this medication at the same time every day and swallow the capsule whole; do not chew, break, or crush it. If you are having difficulty swallowing Qudexy XR, it may be sprinkled over soft food and taken that way; discuss the proper procedure with your doctor. You doctor may recommend changes to your diet.
