What if I forget to take a dose of Campral?

What happens if I overdose on Campral?

If an overdose of the Campral drug is suspected, contact the Poison Control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the individual has stopped breathing or has lost consciousness, contact Emergency Services at 911. Signs of an overdose include diarrhea. Taking Campral for an extended period can cause disorientation, constipation, excessive thirst, appetite loss, muscle weakness, restlessness, fatigue, or an upset stomach.

Warnings

It is unlikely the Campral drug will help if you have not quit drinking and undergone alcohol detoxification. Contact your doctor if you become pregnant while taking this medication. If you drink while taking Campral, continue taking it and call your doctor. This medication does not prevent alcohol withdrawal symptoms.
