What is Sular?
Sular is medication that helps lower high blood pressure in patients diagnosed with hypertension. Sular tablets belong to a class of medications called calcium channel blockers that work by relaxing and widening blood vessels to improve blood flow. It is recommended that patients take Sular alongside a healthy diet and regular exercise to receive the maximum benefits of the therapy.
How do I take Sular?
Take Sular tablets on empty stomach or at least 1 hour before or after meals. Do not crush, chew or break Sular drug tablets, as this may cause the medication to be released too quickly in the body.
Before taking Sular, tell your doctor if:
- You are allergic to this or any other medications
- You are taking any other prescription or non-prescription drugs or supplements
- You are pregnant or plan to become pregnant
- You are breastfeeding or plan to breastfeed
- You have a history of heart disease
- You have a history of liver problems

What are the possible side effects of taking Sular?

What if I forget to take a dose of Sular?
If you forget to take a dose of Sular, skip it and remember to take it during your next scheduled dose. Do not double up on Sular tablets to make up for a missed dose or you may experience adverse effects.
How do I store Sular?
Store Sular tablets in a room with a temperature between 68 to 78 degrees Fahrenheit. Do not expose Sular to extreme heat, cold, or excess moisture, as this may cause the chemical composition of the medication to change.
What happens if I overdose on Sular?
If you overdose on Sular, contact local health emergency services at 911 or Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222 to receive medical attention.
Warnings
Do not take Sular with aspirin or other medications that interfere with blood flow. Do not take Sular with grapefruit or grapefruit juice as it may increase the amount of medication in the body.
