Zuplenz is the drug ondansetron, a serotonin 5-HT3 receptor antagonist that is prescribed to prevent the nausea and vomiting that may accompany chemotherapy, radiation therapy, or cancer surgery. Use dry hands to peel back the packaging, place the Zuplenz strip on your tongue, and allow it to dissolve; do not swallow the strip. As the strip dissolves, swallow the released medication several times; water may be used to help it dissolve. Wash your hands after taking Zuplenz.
