What is Enjuvia?

Enjuvia is an oral medication containing the female hormone estrogen. It is primarily prescribed to treat hot flashes in women going through menopause, although it may also be used to relieve other menopause symptoms, such as vaginal irritation. It works by increasing the amount of estrogen in the body.

How do I take Enjuvia?

Before going to the pharmacy, print or download one of our Enjuvia coupons or use the Enjuvia discount card to reduce the cost. Enjuvia comes in the form of capsules, which are taken by mouth with or without food. Some people find that they need to take this medication while eating or immediately after a meal in order to prevent an upset stomach. When taking this medication, some patients have reported an upset stomach, weight changes, nausea, vomiting, headache, and breast tenderness. If any of these symptoms continue for a long time or become severe, talk to your health care provider. Contact your doctor immediately if you experience any rare but serious side effects, including breast lumps, unusual vaginal bleeding or irritation, severe abdominal pain, persistent nausea, unexplained mood changes, swelling of the hands or feet, yellowing of the eyes or skin, dark urine, and increased thirst or urination.

What if I forget to take a dose of Enjuvia?

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember, unless it’s almost time for another dose. If this is the case, just skip the missed dose and continue with your normal dosing schedule. Do not double your dose to catch up.

How do I store Enjuvia?

Keep Enjuvia in a tightly sealed container at room temperature, away from light and moisture (avoid storing it in the bathroom).
