• This medication may cause drowsiness. Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how this medication affects you.
• Do not drink alcohol while using this medication, as alcohol may worsen the drowsiness effect of Estazolam.
• The use of tobacco products and cigarette smoking may decrease the effectiveness of this medication.

Call your doctor immediately if you find that you have been doing anything in your sleep, such as getting out of bed, making calls, or any other activity while asleep while using this medication.

What are the possible side effects of using Estazolam?

• dizziness
• weakness
• dry mouth
• constipation
• aggression or agitation
• behavioral changes

What if I forget to use a dose of Estazolam?

Estazolam is typically prescribed to be taken as needed. If your doctor prescribed this medication to be taken regularly, take the missed dose as soon as you remember it.
