Zutripro Information:

This medicine is a decongestant, antihistamine, and narcotic cough suppressant combination used to relieve sinus congestion, runny nose, sneezing, and cough due to colds, upper respiratory infections, or allergies. It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.
Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor or on the package. Use a measuring device marked for medicine dosing. Ask your pharmacist for help if you are unsure of how to measure this dose. TAKE THIS MEDICINE by mouth with or without food. If stomach upset occurs, take with food to reduce stomach irritation. STORE THIS MEDICINE at room temperature, between 68 and 77 degrees F (20 and 25 degrees C), away from heat, moisture, and light. KEEP THIS MEDICINE out of the reach of children and away from pets. This medicine is usually used as needed. IF YOU FORGET TO USE A DOSE OF THIS MEDICINE and you still have symptoms, use it when you remember as directed by your doctor. Do not take 2 doses at once.
Some medicines or medical conditions may interact with this medicine. INFORM YOUR DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST of all prescription and over-the-counter medicine that you are taking. DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE if you are also taking sodium oxybate (GHB), or if you have taken furazolidone or a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (eg, phenelzine) within the past 14 days. ADDITIONAL MONITORING OF YOUR DOSE OR CONDITION may be needed if you are taking anticholinergics (eg, oxybutynin, scopolamine), barbiturates (eg, phenobarbital), beta-blockers (eg, propranolol), bromocriptine, buprenorphine, cimetidine, digoxin, droxidopa, guanadrel, guanethidine, HIV protease inhibitors (eg, ritonavir), hydantoins (eg, phenytoin), linezolid, mecamylamine, methyldopa, muscle relaxants (eg, cyclobenzaprine), naltrexone, opioid analgesics (eg, oxycodone), phenothiazines (eg, chlorpromazine), quinidine, reserpine, tricyclic antidepressants (eg, amitriptyline), or urinary alkalinizers (eg, sodium bicarbonate). DO NOT START OR STOP ANY MEDICINE without doctor or pharmacist approval. Inform your doctor of any other medical conditions, including severe drowsiness, recent head or brain injury, brain tumor or lesions, increased pressure in the brain, infection of the brain or nervous system, a seizure disorder (eg, epilepsy), poor health, a cough that occurs with large amounts of mucus, allergies, pregnancy, or breast-feeding. Tell your doctor if you have a history of asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), or other lung or breathing problems (eg, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, sleep apnea); chronic cough; diabetes; glaucoma or increased pressure in the eye; heart problems (eg, cor pulmonale; fast, slow, or irregular heartbeat; heart disease); high or low blood pressure; thyroid problems; adrenal gland problems (eg, adrenal gland tumor, Addison disease); stomach problems (eg, ulcers); bowel problems (eg, chronic inflammation or ulceration of the bowel, diarrhea due to antibiotic use); liver or kidney problems; enlarged prostate or other prostate problems; trouble urinating; low blood volume; blood vessel problems; stroke; constipation; gallbladder problems (eg, gallstones); a blockage of your stomach, bladder, or bowel; recent stomach, bowel, or urinary surgery; alcohol or substance abuse or dependence; mental or mood problems (eg, depression); or suicidal thoughts or behavior. Tell your doctor if you are very overweight. USE OF THIS MEDICINE IS NOT RECOMMENDED if you have narrow-angle glaucoma, severe high blood pressure, severe heart blood vessel disease, rapid heartbeat, severe heart problems, increased pressure in the brain, or slow or shallow breathing. USE OF THIS MEDICINE IS NOT RECOMMENDED if you are unable to urinate or are having an asthma attack. Use of this medicine in CHILDREN under age 18 is not recommended. Children younger than 6 years old may be at risk for severe and possibly fatal breathing problems. Discuss with your doctor the risks and benefits of giving this medicine to your child. Contact your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions or concerns about using this medicine.
SIDE EFFECTS that may occur while taking this medicine include anxiety; constipation; dizziness; drowsiness; dry mouth, throat, or nose; excitability; headache; loss of appetite; nausea; trouble sleeping; upset stomach; vomiting; or weakness. If they continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. THIS MEDICINE MAY CAUSE increased sensitivity to the sun. Avoid exposure to the sun, sunlamps, or tanning booths until you know how you react to this medicine. Use a sunscreen or protective clothing if you must be outside for a prolonged period. CONTACT YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY if you experience confusion; difficulty urinating or inability to urinate; fainting; fast, slow, or irregular heartbeat; fever, chills, or persistent sore throat; hallucinations; loss of coordination; mental or mood changes (eg, depression, nervousness); persistent trouble sleeping; restlessness; ringing in the ears; seizures; severe or persistent constipation or stomach pain; severe or persistent dizziness, drowsiness, lightheadedness, or headache; slow or shallow breathing; tremor; uncontrolled muscle movements; unusual bruising or bleeding; unusual tiredness or weakness; or vision changes (eg, blurred vision). AN ALLERGIC REACTION TO THIS MEDICINE is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue. This is not a complete list of all side effects that may occur. If you have questions about side effects, contact your healthcare provider. Call your doctor for medical advice about side effects. You may report side effects to FDA at 1-800-FDA-1088.
IF OVERDOSE IS SUSPECTED, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include blurred vision; cold and clammy skin; coma; confusion; hallucinations; seizures; severe or persistent dizziness, drowsiness, lightheadedness, or headache; slow or shallow breathing; unusually fast, slow, or irregular heartbeat; or vomiting.
