What is Sitagliptin?
Sitagliptin is a generic drug that is used along with diet and exercise, and sometimes in combination with other medications, to treat type 2 diabetes. Type 2 diabetes is a condition in which the body’s blood sugar levels are too high because the body does not produce insulin normally.
Sitagliptin is in a class of medications called dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitors, and it works by increasing the amount of insulin released by the body and decreasing the amount of sugar in the body.
How do I use Sitagliptin?
